I founded Demeter Limited after 18 years in the water industry working both in the UK and USA.
I wanted to get closer to customers, and to work together to help reduce water use and costs sustainably utilising my broad range of experience gained over the years.
We developed monitoring software, Utilities Manager to provide a superb, user-friendly means of tracking water and other utility usage and costs.
I continue to be taken aback by the levels of losses going through water meters that customers are paying for without realising it.
I want to stop this happening.
More than 75% of customers are using more water than necessary and spending more money than they should when we first start working with them.
Customers are busy people, with many priorities, this is why we proactively check usage profiles and alarms every day of the year. With 15,000 locations on our monitoring portal, we have the knowledge and expertise to very quickly identify excessive use and costs.
