At Demeter, our commitment to customer service goes beyond simply resolving issues—we proactively monitor water systems to detect anomalies early, ensuring that problems are identified and addressed before they escalate. Our goal is to provide our customers with not just effective solutions, but also peace of mind through timely notifications and support.

Proactive Customer Engagement: A Data-Driven Approach

On average, we contact 35% of our customers each month with updates on their water consumption.  The nature of water use is such, that at any time, usage can increase suddenly, our objective is to inform the customers of this promptly to enable the issue to be resolved as quickly as possible to prevent ongoing excessive costs and water wastage.

Communicating Value: The Power of Proactive Notifications

In 2024, we sent 3,600 outgoing messages, alerting customers to changes in their water usage, potential leaks. These notifications empower customers to take quick action, preventing issues from escalating.

Celebrating Water Savings: Addressing Positive Anomalies

Our proactive monitoring also celebrates customer achievements. A significant portion of our interactions involves notifying customers about reductions in their water usage, which helps raise awareness about the effectiveness of a proactive approach and its contribution to sustainability.

Tackling Leaks and Bursts: Swift Action Saves Resources

Through proactive alerts, many of our customers are contacted monthly about anomalies that indicate potential leaks or bursts. These early warnings allow customers to act before issues worsen, minimizing water loss and damage.

Engagement and Response: Building Trust

We recorded the feedback and responses from customers. These help us to build an invaluable picture of the types of faults and issues that are encountered and their frequency. Our records also help us to work with customers
